The wireless network bridge, as its name implies, is the bridging of the wireless networks. It uses wireless transmission to build a communication bridge between two or more networks; wireless network bridges are divided into circuit-type bridges and data-type bridges from the communication mechanism.
In addition to the basic characteristics of wired network bridges, wireless network bridges work in 2.4G or 5.8G frequency bands that do not require a wireless license, so they are more convenient to deploy than other wired network equipment.
Wireless bridge transmission standards often use 802.11b or 802.11g, 802.11a and 802.11n standards. The data rate of the 802.11b standard is 11Mbps. Under the premise of maintaining sufficient data transmission bandwidth, 802.11b can usually provide 4Mbps to 6Mbps. Data rate, and 802.11g, 802.11a standard wireless bridges have 54Mbps transmission bandwidth, the actual data rate can reach about 5 times that of 802.11b, and the current transmission bandwidth of up to 108Mbps through turb and Super mode; 802.11n Usually can provide a transmission rate of 150Mbps to 600Mbps.
Point-to-point (PTP), that is, “direct transmission”. The wireless bridge device can be used to connect two fixed networks located in different buildings. They generally consist of a pair of bridges and a pair of antennas. The two antennas must be placed in opposite directions. The outdoor antenna and the indoor bridge are connected by cables, while the bridge and the network are physically connected.
Typical application of wireless bridge
Wireless network bridges are usually used outdoors and are mainly used to connect two networks. It is impossible to use only one wireless network bridge. Point-to-point must be more than two, and APs can be used alone. The wireless network bridge has high power, long transmission distance (up to about 50km), strong anti-interference ability, etc. It does not have its own antenna. Generally, it is equipped with a parabolic antenna to achieve long-distance point-to-point connection.
How we get the wireless bridge working?
The Wireless Bridge has two mode, auto mode and customize mode.
1. Auto mode: simply connect the bridges with POE adapter and internet source, one set for "A" mode, another set to "B" mode, the both bridges will pair automatically, no any other settings, just plug to play.

2. Customize mode: by this mode you need connect to computer to configure the parameters, you must familiar with network technology, otherwise it may lose internet or not working properly.

we strang suggest you choose auto mode when you first time use this product, after you get knowledge of the network settings you can switch to customize mode.
In any time please press the "RST" button over 10 seconds, let the device reset to factory mode, it will go back to auto mode, you can save it back in this way if you misunderstand the customize configures.
